ATTEND REGULARLY
You matter to this family. The Bible describes us as a body. The body needs all of its parts to function. While life events may sometimes keep us from weekly fellowship, we desire that, when those events are not happening, that you’re connected to the body.
GIVE CONSISTENTLY
Giving is an attribute that we get from God Himself. God gave us Jesus (John 3:16) and so we should reflect that. We give in three main areas of our lives. Those are our time, our talents, and our treasure.
PRAY FERVENTLY
If Northlake is to be successful in being a church who makes disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus, it will be done because we are a praying church - a church that prays together when we’re gathered - a church that prays when we are alone and away from the church campus.
LIVE MISSIONALLY
Our lives should be a witness to the world around us that Jesus has made a change in us. However, our words are necessary to share how Christ changed us, how man is sinful and justly headed to hell but God in his mercy, has offered Jesus to take away our sin debt through faith in him and repentance of sins.
GROW SPIRITUALLY
The closer we abide to Christ, the more we will trust Him. The more we trust Him, the more we will step out in faith to act on what we have learned through our personal study of the Bible and the messages we are taught at church.
SERVE INTENTIONALLY
Each member at Northlake has been gifted by the Holy Spirit with spiritual gifts. Each member has talents that they have developed. Each member has things they are passionate about. Find out where those things intersect in the life of the church and jump into serving there. If that place doesn’t exist then maybe you were led here to start it!
